Exploring New Perspectives

Although work on the design portfolio is proving quite slow I still have a lot more work to do here. I am quite pleased with the new work I have which is based around my 35mm cameras. I currently use both the Olympus Om 40 and the Pentax K1000. I am planning a trip to Lille where I expect to use the K1000 for the first time! Going via the Eurostar I'm really excited about this new trip and also the website is starting to look really good! I think some of the the photos look really professional I was encouraged by the way they came out and I think I can really add to both the design and ecological aspects of this site. Hopefully just to showcase some of my work which relates to the environment and the possibilities of amateur photography and even AI in finding solutions to ecological challenges!

Hopefully I can develop my style as I did with my designs, most of which are not on display as yet, I also like having a sketchbook, and I really enjoy printmaking too, so there's quite a lot going on here potentially. I hope that people will appreciate the work and hopefully add comments. Some of it could be for sale, I have thought about selling prints. All the images are available, at the moment for sharing and downloading but I can also do hard copies. I am also interested in literature and would love to make some kind of book that I could sell. I would love to have more items for sale. There are essentially two possibilities at the moment one a photography book on ecology, and one a book about printmaking. It is far off but if there is some interest in them then I can run off a few copies.

It is all for the fun at the moment and I enjoy chronicling the local area and bits of France, which I have visited recently. Cartier-Bresson is a big inspiration, definitely as is Milo Reid, and Chris Taylor. All the main people are here so I think it will be really good. It is a self-made site, I think of it as a shop window and realm of creativity, the actual level of creativity you need to design one of these pages is actually very high.
