October Highlights: Innovations in Continuity and Expression

I've been looking again at the site and making new work in various media, 35mm is increasing, and more work is being added. I've been doing doing a bit of creative writing recently, and I love having that the freedom to discuss certain issues and to discover the world in my own time, using the equipment I currently have to craft new items, such as woodcuts and lino cuts. I'm doing a lot of reading as well, and working a number of jobs, I get the chance sometimes to see new things and try out ideas, I have a number of interests. Recently I've been learning penny whistle at home got a book on the subject and that's been good fun. My writing has improved a lot recently as well and I am generally doing a lot in black and white so the chances of getting a good photo are increasing all the time. I may do a course this year if I have the time, and spend a while procuring some more photo stories to put online.

I have a bit of work to do in the print room to really bring it up to date. There are new ideas to add to the mix and I want that skill to evolve on maybe I'll get some good equipment to add to the workshop, so I can turn out a number of prints, on various subjects, mostly I've been looking more at abstraction recently. I've been thinking about the web a lot and how to add content and create niche interests and stuff that you don't generally see, in the long run maybe collaborating with other developers would be good and it would be good to hear from more people who could perhaps post things on a page, I'll have to have a look more about what there is, perhaps a forum for prints would be better and give us a chance to be more noticed, I don't tend to use social media as much. So something like a shop page would be sensible to add on at some point. Maybe an ebay shop.
